In Safe Hands

I thought I'd start a thread for the story that follows the challenges and choices that Elliott Carter finds during a family holiday to Malaga, Spain: a boy who has many stamps on his passport, but few friends.

 

The tale comes out of a previous story "An English Teen, Circumcised in the USA".

So it was a painting of Miguel by his father Elliott saw. His parents seem to adore their only child. He's older on the picture, more or less the same age as the circumcised kid's dark-haired friend, also an only child...

I just finished Elliot's story.

Should have finished it at home rather than at work

As I shed more than a few tears.

Anxious now to see what developes between Luke and Elliot

This is excellent writing, I would recommend it to everyone, as long as you have tissues handy.
