Movie Plot Game: It's already been done by....

While we as writers have a boatload of ideas from magical elves with leather fetishes to depressed teen with an unrequited love who happens to be his abusive bully, sometimes our peers in the world of film making seem to be recycling ideas constantly with slight twists.

 

This game involves you coming up with a short movie plot summary as a 30 second pitch as a famous film maker, but then it is shot down for a plot point similarity to another movie. The person who shoots down your idea will introduce a new plot summary, then the same will happen.

 

Here's an example:

I think it should be fun and be a good way of drawing movie connections to plots.
