    Q. What did one strawberry say to the other?

    A. "If you weren't so fresh last night, we wouldn't

    be in this jam together!"

    ...

It was many years ago since the embarrassing day

when a young woman, with a baby in her arms,

entered his butcher shop and confronted the butcher

with the news that the baby was his and asked what

was he going to do about it?

Finally he offered to provide her with free meat until

the boy was 16. She agreed.

He had been counting the years off on his calendar,

and one day the teenager who had been collecting

the meat each week, came into the shop and said,

    "I'll be 16 tomorrow."

"I know," said the butcher with a smile, "I've been

counting too, tell your mother, when you take this

parcel of meat home, that it is the last free meat she'll

get, and watch the expression on her face."

When the boy arrived home he told his mother. The

woman nodded and said, "Son, go back to the

butcher and tell him I have also had free bread, free

milk, and free groceries for the last 16 years and

watch the expression on HIS face!"

    ...

A man at the airline counter tells the rep. I'd like this

bag to go to Berlin, this one to California, and this

    one to London.
The rep says, I'm sorry sir. We can't do that.
The man replied: "Nonsense. That is what you did

last time I flew with you."

    ...

My family has a tradition of naming the cruise control

on our cars. We were used to hearing my father

proclaim, “Take it, Max,” as he flipped on the cruise

control during long trips in our station wagon.

Recently, I was traveling with my parents in their new

car when we hit a wide-open expanse of highway. My

dad leaned back and said, “I think I'll let Tom drive for

    a while.”

    “Tom who?” I asked.

My mother translated for me: “Tom Cruise, of course.”

I popped eight pimples. It was an act o' pus.

    I'd rather have ten tickles.

    “Powers Of One” Illusion

    by Bev Doolittle

She is often called a “camouflage artist” because her distinctive use of context, design and pattern help viewers discover meanings which seem hidden only until they become obvious. Having all this in mind, try and see as many hidden animals there are in this picture. Don’t stop after you’ve only seen one or two – there are much more to be discovered!

Those aren't cups of hot chocolate. They're served with forks, and the contents appear to have a thick, creamy texture, so I would guess that the mugs are actually filled with some kind of mousse, custard, or Póts de Creme.

Well done, the both of you. I couldn't hide those damn forks. The non melting marshmallows didn't help.

Did either of you realize that the cups themselves were part of the treat?

Quite often drivers slow down as they speak and speed up while they’re listening.  ;-)

Sometimes an idle (idling) mind can be handy.

There are basically two types of people who work at night and sleep during the day.

I guess, with me, there are now three types.

I wondered why the forks. With most creamy-type desserts, a spoon is used. Pies generally get forks because of the crust. But the handles on the cups/mugs did look a little odd, but what do I know? I don’t drink coffee and almost never drink black tea, so I don’t use mugs very often.  ;-)

Is that marzipan? That also explains the little doily too. I guess that should have been a clue!  ;-)
