Encourage an Author. Leave a Review!   08/14/2017

I'd like to thank the handful of members who have really stepped up on writing reviews for authors.  They really appreciate when members take the time to write the review.  Speaking as an author myself, reviews and feedback encourage us to write.  I've heard from several of our authors thanking us for reminding everyone how important this is. Read some of the latest reviews here: https://www.gayauthors.org/discover/74/   You never know when you'll find that next must read story... but those reviews might help guide you in.  And, in turn, your reviews will help guide others.  Everyone benefits.    If you are looking for stories to review, Here's the list of completed stories.  Any story that isn't already showing stars, needs a review.  Give them a try.  Or, go back and review some of your beloved classics.  The authors love hearing from you.   Go through the list and be sure to leave a review! It is really simple. Select a star rating from 1 to 5, with 5 being the best. Write a review that is spoiler free that highlights what you think other people should know about the story.  If you are leaving a critical or low rated review, please make your comments constructive so that the author has an opportunity to improve their writing.  We writers usually appreciate this. I know I do. If you are reading a story review and you like it and found it helpful, be sure to mark it as helpful.    That's it!  Check out the video if you need help.  It is closed captioned as well if you can't follow my mumbling dulcet tones:   Remember, you can see recent reviews here: https://www.gayauthors.org/discover/74/ (also found from Activity -> My Activity Streams -> Latest Story Reviews)

Lugh writes fiction (both long and short) and poetry. Some is good, some is better, some is "Most Excellent Charley!" Among these pages you will find some gems: a few are polished, a few are still diamonds in the rough, a few might be lumps of coal. Lugh does not write any one genre, although he does tend to gyrate more to the speculative fiction realm with a focus on young adult characters.

  3. Binding 3. Vega-5 Premium

By Lugh, in Fiction. 04/14/2013 (Updated: 06/29/2013)

Vega-5 is the place where dreams do come true, even the ones you didn’t know you had. It said so, right on the brochure. Bernat Arnad had little hope of his own dreams coming true but there was hope, and that was something to hold on to even if he did have to learn to let go first.
  4. Bio Poem

By Lugh, in Poetry. 12/27/2010 (Updated: 12/27/2010)

A Bio-Poem has a strict set of rules but now you deliver them says almost as much about you as the words you pick within the rules. This was my stab at this type of poetry.

  7. Card Tales

By Lugh, in Fiction. 12/17/2010 (Updated: 12/17/2010)

Card Tales was written to a challenge to help me get over my writer's block. It is a series of interwoven tales with a single main character, Cardanniel, who gets into a bunch of trouble. At the top of each tale will be a list of required elements. These were part of the challenge. Please note there are continuity errors, and I am aware of them.
  8. Catara Premium

By Lugh, in Fiction. 12/26/2010 (Updated: 07/19/2011)

In the time of troubles the GefahRadan sang Achoron into being and rewarded the faithful by allowing them live in peace under the watchful care of the Radan. Generations are born and die and eventually, the Radan seeks it’s past to provide for its future. Thus the fates of a few are twisted so that two worlds hang in the balance. Thus the saga begins...
