    Three years ago, a man nicknamed Teddy witnessed the death of his lover by the hands of the Carnifex, an organization that once gave him hope for a better life, but now he was in a living hell as he strived to kill all the people involved with his lover's death.  One of those people was the organization's head of security who revealed Teddy's secret relationship to the Carnifex and now was living a comfortable, happy life with a house by the beach and a person that he loved.  Teddy was going to destroy his life and be one step closer to finally getting the revenge that he desperately wanted.

    If life was there for the taking, then it might look a lot like Kay Walker’s life.  A good family with liberal and accepting attitudes, doing impressively well at college both on and off the field, a big circle of friends, and a promising future.

    Of course, there are a couple of problems with this picture.  Firstly, it wouldn’t make a very interesting story.  And secondly, perhaps more importantly, it’s not quite true.  Or at least, it’s not the whole picture.
