Tidal Power - 4. Epilogue

“You’re gonna have to teach me how to drive this monster, Vasili.”

“You don’t have to learn how to unless you want to, Mahi. If it’s the two of us, I can play Captain. If you want to take the family or some of the tribe members out, I can get some of my guys to crew for you. I do want to make the first weekend trip—after we clean the place out and make some changes—an outing for the men who ran the operation and their families.”

“That would be cool. Can we sleep that many?”

“Yeah, we’ll give the couples and the crew first dibs on the cabins. Kids and single men can sleep in the salon or topside. I plan to string a hammock outside and spend my nights under the stars as long as the weather let’s me.”

“Do you mind my guys naming the boat the Atlantis?”

“Fuck no! It’s the perfect name. Plus naming the jet the Full Moon Flyer was another stroke of genius on their part. My people will be stoked when they see the name of the tribe on the plane.”

“What a fucking month! I guess it all worked out in the end, though.”

“For the most part. Yes/ Tepes getting away by turning into smoke pisses me off.”

“He’s one cocky fucker. Just him and the two goons on board. And they sailed this thing all the way from Marseilles! They probably had a larger crew they put ashore somewhere in New England.”

“I have a feeling this is not the last time we’ll see him. He lost a lot of money, a jet, and a yacht―he’s probably not happy with us. He’ll see right through the ruse of the solicitor stealing the money and the plane.”

“Not going to worry about it right now. You and I have at least three days at sea before we dock at Sambro. We’re going to spend most of that time naked.”

“Now we’re talking! Before I forget, the wife sends her love but asks that you not wear me out. She claims sometimes after she lends me to you, I’m useless to her for a day or two!”

“Ha! That woman is a trip, you better be good to her. When you and I are a little older, we’ll have to sit down and figure out what we want to do in our personal lives."

“Matters to be dealt with, mate. Matters to be dealt with at another time. For now it’s you and me and some good loving.”

LOL! I'm kinda like Timothy on this.....you stopped short on the chapter! But, guess it's a setup for the next story--so get your ass busy on it!

Good job telling a complex story so efficiently!

So the wife does know he diddles around on her with Vasili and they have an open marriage....BUT leaving that topic aside...

 

The only good thing about Vlad being alive is it sets him up to cause some havoc in a possible sequel (where he now knows mermen exist). I look forward to reading the next story with Vasili and his guys!

Did you really expect me to go all the way the first time around? I'm not that type of man.... who the fuck am I kidding, of course I am LOL

 

I guess Mahi being sore after a night with Vasili wasn't enough? The two of them invited me to spend a week on the Atlantis with them, told me to pack sunscreen if I had a favorite brand and nothing else. Maybe I can get you an invite?

 

Hope the story overall worked, this one was a bit harder to write.

I have a title and a premise for a follow-up but not a heck of a lot more yet. I need to finish some other projects before I return to my boys.

 

As I told Tim this was hard. I set myself a story size limit since I did not want it to turn into anything gigantic and then had to cram a lot of stuff in that space. The background for the wolves and the dolphins had to be introduced to provide context but there are plenty of details there was no room for. I didn't want to do a gigantic information dump!

 

The sex is going to be part of the story but secondary, and even there, a lot more has to be explained.

 

Thanks for you ongoing boosts bud, they mean a hell of a lot to me!

LMAO! Yeah, we can set that one aside for a while. And doing that, I hope it worked for you.There's so much more this characters can say and do that I could write exclusively about them and stay busy for a long time.

 

But I can't do that and I don't want to cheat them by churning out weekly installments just for the hell of it. Sooner or later we'll all get back together and then we'll get to know each other a bit better.

What a tease!!!!!

And not like Tim mentioned (although I do agree with him), but what a world you have opened up. I can see loads of great stories here.

I know you want to work on some other stories first but I'm thinking that a hot steamy chapter about the next couple of days on the Atlantis would keep Tim drooling (I'm only asking for Tim 0:) but it you wanted to share with me too I wouldn't mind :lmao: )

Vasili and Mahi are young guys so I'm sure we'll get a more detailed peek at their intimate life sooner or later

I like how you fixed the Mahi mate approval which I am going to assume is just for Vasili. I thought this was a perfect,concise epilogue that sets up for the future, still keeping the strong theme of respect among both the the different packs AND individual pack members. There were no over the top characters here, like there sometimes is in Shifter stories... and I think we had a perfect introduction to Prince Tepis as a formidable future adversary. On yeah, more pictures of Neo would be nice :huh: . Cheers,Buddy...Gary

I think I agree with most guys here in that you left us wanting more! After reading the story I have an entirely new appreciation for dolphins that I never even knew existed :P The wolves are still my favorite, though!

Extremely pleased you liked it Albert. I tried to create something different. By using dolphins and wolves springing from Native American traditions, I was able to make up my own mythology.

 

I'm working on a follow up, not a sequel, Coming to GA in the very near future. :P
