Levko

‘Just one more,’ he thought.

He needed one more to make enough so that Charlie wouldn’t beat him—at least not tonight. It was cold and he wanted nothing more than to go and buy a doughnut and coffee from Timmy’s. Winter was coming, but he had to find another one. It didn’t matter that he could no longer feel his feet.

It was nearly 1:00 a.m. and the cold wind had sent most of the others inside or home without enough for the night. The street was dark except for the single street light that swayed in the relentless wind. He got nearer to it so that passersby could see him clearly.

The glow of the light dispelled the shadows but only briefly, as the wind tossed the fixture. The slim young man leaned against the post of a brickwork fence and took a long drag of his cigarette. He gazed at the circle of light and thought wistfully, ‘There’s not enough light in my life.’

He’d smoked too much tonight and this hit made him feel dizzy. Adrenaline pushed that away, when a car pulled up. Slowly he walked toward it. This was no scuzzy vehicle.

The passenger side window opened and a male voice asked, “You have the time?”

“Sure, as much as you need,” the boy replied.

“Get in the back.” There was an electric purr as a small motor closed the window.

He paused for a second—his breath hitched as he thought about getting in the car—he dropped the cigarette. This one would be the last john of the night.

The car was sleek and black with chrome wire hubs. It looked like money to him.

He pulled open the door and climbed in. The rich leather enveloped his ass and he nearly groaned with pleasure as he sank into it. The seat was soft and silky under his hand.

“Like it?”

He jumped; frightened by the unexpected voice—it was as smooth as the leather.

There was someone in the back with him. He peered around unable to see much, little light got through the darkly tinted windows. He pressed back against his door. The automatic locks slid down with a pleasant thunk. The car moved smoothly away from the curb.

“Don’t be afraid. You … and I are going to have a wonderful time together this evening. I will see to it that you enjoy every moment.” The voice was male, deep, and cultured.

The boy swallowed, feeling suddenly exposed. He groped behind himself for the door handle. There wasn’t one. This felt wrong and he wanted to get out. “Please. I’m supposed to be home now. Charlie will be angry. Please let me go.”

“I’m not going to hurt you. You are much too beautiful for that.”

Lev could hear the smile, and possibly kindness in the man’s voice.

“Now boy, tell me your name.”

“L…Lev.”

“Short for?”

“Levko.”

“Lovely. Come closer Lev, so we can see each other.”

Inside, the car suddenly got lighter. Lev gazed up at the now softly-glowing tiny pot lights. He turned to view the man who would be paying him. He’d expected ugly, but this man was not. Not at all.

The other passenger was dressed in a beautifully tailored dark gray suit. He was well-built and classically handsome. ‘He’s rich—he must be,’ Lev thought.

“What do I call you?” Lev asked.

“For now, Jon will do.”

Lev nodded. “Okay, Jon. So what do you want? A blow or …”

“Shhh, let’s not speak of it. There’s much I wish to explore with you.”

“Well, it’s best to get cost out of the way ….”

“Lev! You will be paid handsomely for the hours we share. More than you thought possible, but we will not speak of it. Do you understand?”

Jon was a powerful man—it emanated from him in waves—Lev felt compelled to obey. When Lev summoned the courage to speak again, his voice was a whisper. “Where are we going?”

“To my home, boy. Just beyond the city limits.” Jon reached into his jacket’s breast pocket and from it pulled a gold cigarette case. “Share one with me?”

Lev watched as Jon opened the case—it didn’t hold cigarettes made with tobacco—his eyes widened.

“You are correct, of course, it’s marijuana.” Smiling, Jon withdrew one and placed it between his lips. “It will help us relax.” The case was slipped back into its place and a matching lighter withdrawn. Jon lit the cigarette and inhaled deeply. Taking it between his thumb and forefinger and handed it to Lev, who shook his head no.

Jon straightened and Lev could feel his displeasure. Jon’s tone was icy, “Take it.”

Lev did as he was commanded and drew the heady smoke into his lungs. This was not street grade weed, this was good and strong. “Oh, wow. Wow!”

“I’m glad you approve.” They shared the joint and Jon dropped the roach into the ashtray. Jon then pulled the younger man close and kissed him. Lev struggled and tried to pull away. Jon, now impatient, held him, and shook him gently by the shoulders. “You will kiss me, boy. Do not give me that tired adage about saving these sexy lips for one who loves you. Tonight, I love you and you will kiss me.”

Was it the sense of power or the quality of Jon’s voice that caught and held Lev like a fly in a spider’s web? Lev didn’t know; but when Jon held his chin and kissed him again, he found his resistance gone. Lev relinquished his mouth to this dominant man.

The kisses were made sweet by the drug, and Lev lost track of time and distance while he was in Jon’s arms.

Finally, the car turned; and after another turn and a few more minutes, it stopped. Jon pushed Levko aside and straightened his tie and jacket. The locks were released and Jon said, “Out you get, boy.” The door on Jon’s side opened and he got out of the car gracefully. Lev, still unable to find the handle crawled along after him.

The house was dark except for the front door. Jon thanked the driver and offered his hand to Lev.

Jon’s hand was broad and it closed over his smaller one. Lev wondered, not for the first time what was going to happen to him? He trotted up the stone staircase and into the large entranceway. There was a well-dressed man waiting; he inclined his head and asked if Jon needed anything. He closed the door. Walking then to the hallway, he stood in front of his employer. The man glanced at Lev, his expression leaving the boy feel like something you’d pick off and flick across the room.

“Thank you Williams, no.”

“Yes sir, I’ll say goodnight then.” Williams took two steps back, turned, and walked down the long dimly lit hallway.

Jon pulled Lev down the same hall by the hand, but stopped mid-way. He released the boy, reached into his trouser pocket, and brought out several keys on a heavy ring. The selected key slid into the lock and the door opened when it was turned, revealing a paneled wooden staircase.

Jon turned to Lev and smiled, “Step inside, boy.”

Lev took a step forward onto the landing and regarded the dimly lit stairs. Again, he was apprehensive. He was completely alone here.

Jon pushed him gently inside and pulled the door closed. “Down you go, boy.”

Lev took the first step and sighed as lights came on as he walked. He wondered how much money Jon had. The car, house, butler and motion activated lights indoors—amazing. When he reached the bottom, he stood to one side and waited for Jon.

Once down, Jon turned on lights which illuminated a hall, at the end of which was a large door. Along the hall were three other closed doors. He walked to the second on the left and using the same ring of keys, unlocked it.

“Come here, Lev.”

Lev joined Jon and peered inside the room. It was windowless, bright, and tiled from floor to ceiling in white and blue tiles. There was a shower, sink, toilet, small cupboard, and a medical stand which held a bag and tubing.

“Lev, I like my boys clean. Inside and out … do you understand me?”

“Yes, I understand, Jon.”

“Good. Clean up and shower. There is a robe on the reverse of this door. Put it on and go through the other door, over there. In the next room you will find a chair, sit on it and wait for me.”

“Yes, Jon.”

Levko knew very well what to do with the enema bag; Charlie liked to torture him with one. Tonight, since he’d eaten nothing today, it wouldn’t be too awful a process. He got on with it, and then showered as he’d been instructed to do.

Clean inside and out, and warm from the shower, Lev pulled on the thick white robe and padded out through the other door. The floor was warm in the small waiting area; it was empty, save chairs, a mirror, and another door. There were two seats there to choose from. One simple and hard, the other padded and wider—Lev automatically took the hard chair.

Jon smiled to himself as he watched the young man through the two-way mirror. ‘This one will be perfect.’

Lev glanced up as Jon walked in. His host was bare-chested and dressed in black denims and boots. Lev licked his lips. Jon was definitely not his usual customer—he was well-muscled and fit.

“Come, boy.”

Getting to his feet Lev followed Jon into another still-larger room. He looked around, his eyes widened and he spun around, surprised.

“Welcome to the Play-room, boy. You know what this is, what we’ll do here?”

“S...sort of, J…Jon.”

“No, my precious, not Jon—not here. Here you call me, Master, or Sir.”

Levko swallowed hard, pulling the robe closer. He gazed around him. Shackles and chains adorned the walls, as did other equipment Lev could not even name nor did he know their uses.

Jon smiled. “Don’t worry, we’ll start slowly. Come with me to the bedroom, a little vanilla never hurt anyone. We’ll try a few things and we’ll see if you have any interest.”

The next morning, Lev sat in the car as he was driven back into the city. He had a little over five hundred dollars in his pocket. Before he left, Jon had kissed him sweetly, and arranged to pick him up the following Friday, at midnight, from the same place. The sex and the drugs had been amazing, Jon was amazing. Levko found himself anticipating their next night together.

The driver paid no attention to Lev, who hunted through the backseat mooching for change. He found several quarters, a looney, and a business card, all of which he shoved into his pocket. He grinned at the little victory. He thought about the man who owned this car. He’d expected a back-seat fuck with the driver watching, or a blowjob but not what had happened. ‘Huh, pretty kinky shit. Who’d have thought I’d like that?’

The driver dropped him where they’d picked him up and Lev walked home to face Charlie. He’d likely be angry and would probably either beat Lev, fuck him, or both before listening to the reason he hadn’t come back the night before. Lev walked up the stairs and pushed open the rundown apartment building door. He walked up two flights and let himself into apartment two-oh-five.

The television was blaring and Charlie lay there on the sofa naked, jacking off to the porn on the tube. His roommate—his pimp—tore himself away from the screen; two men that were fucking a third on the set. He glared at Lev. “Where the fuck have you been, you piece of shit? Get the fuck over here and suck my dick.”

Lev obeyed, falling to his knees and taking Charlie’s thick member into his mouth. He did little, letting Charlie thrust into him, and after a good ten minutes, finally filling his mouth with come. “Swallow it all, you piece of garbage,” Charlie said, as he squeezed the last drop from his softening member. Chuckling, Charlie said, “My new name for you—Garbage.”

Shoving Lev roughly aside, Charlie pulled on a pair of jeans and stood up to zip and button them. He stalked to the fridge and pulled out a beer. The can hissed as the pull tab was removed. Charlie drank deeply, swallowing like he was dying of thirst. Lev got to his feet and went into the small kitchenette, carefully avoiding getting in Charlie’s way. He found a cup and ran the cold water, filled the cup and took a sip.

Lev turned around to go back to the sofa, but Charlie stepped in front of him and knocked the plastic container from his hand. “I asked you a question, Garbage. Where…the...fuck…were you?”

Lev tried to step back but Charlie punched him and grabbed him by the hair. He pulled the smaller man behind him, until they reached the doorway of a foul-smelling bedroom. Charlie shoved Lev in and as his victim turned, Charlie slapped him mightily across the face. “Get your fucking clothes off. You’re gonna learn to answer me. You need a lesson.”

Lev pulled his clothes off, knowing fighting back would be fruitless. Charlie, with a full head of steam, could not be stopped or reasoned with. Within seconds he stood without clothes in front of his angry pimp. Charlie didn’t hit him though; instead he stared at Lev’s chest and then his eyes.

“What the fuck, Lev? Where did the bruises come from?”

“Guy last night.”

Charlie saw the purple bruises on Lev’s chest, the nipples were darker and bruised too. He pinched one lightly, enjoying it when Lev hissed. Charlie squeezed a bit harder and continued until Lev moaned. “Oh, what the fuck did you get up to last night, Garbage? Hmmm? Unzip me.”

Lev did and pulled Charlie’s jeans off. Charlie pushed Lev back onto the bed and holding his legs, pushed his hard dick into Lev’s tender ass. He thrust in as deeply as possible, fast and hard, totally excited about the bruises on his boy’s body. Lev’s reaction to the onslaught turned him on even more.

Charlie wasn’t about to come any time soon and Lev let his mind go back to the night before as he remembered what Jon—Master—had shown him.

***

“The pain you want and desire, you need to embrace, Lev.” Master lay on the bed beside him. They’d fucked and it had been wonderful—none of his other of his customers ever cared how he felt, but Jon had. Now, he lay in Master’s arms as the man touched him and showed him much he’d never thought about.

“For instance, if I take your nipple between my fingers and squeeze, what do you want to do?”

“Stop you, because it hurts.”

“Yes, exactly. But …” Jon kissed the boy. “What if I apply pressure and kiss you, then what?”

“Mmm, then it feels good, even though it hurts.”

“Exactly, right again, boy. Now, I want you to look into my eyes as I offer you this pain. Do not moan—or cry out. Do not flinch. Focus on my eyes as I apply pressure. Do not look away, precious. Accept the gift, let it flow through you.”

Lev did. The pain was intense; it radiated from his nipple, outward through his body—he stared into Jon’s eyes. He saw lust and kindness there; he felt good as he took this gift from Master.

Jon slowly released the pressure and massaged the now-tender nipple. He then bent and suckled it gently, making the boy moan. “You’re a good boy, Lev. I’m proud of you. You did very, very well. Did you enjoy that?”

The boy nodded and he felt suddenly overwhelmed. He threw his arms around Jon, who responded in kind. He held the boy as he sobbed. “Shhh. It’s normal to feel this way. It’s a very intimate and intense thing.”

After Lev fell asleep, Jon rose, donned a robe and went to the small kitchen. He made them a warm drink and woke Lev to make sure he drank it.

“Do you have any questions, boy? Anything you want to know? Do you know what I am? What I want from you? Does that interest you?”

Levko thought for a few moments while sipping his drink, before he spoke. “I know what you are; I’m just not sure if I’m what you want. I never thought of myself as submissive, but tonight with you, I feel like I am. I enjoyed what we did—I think I’d like to explore more.”

Nodding, Jon stroked Lev’s cheek. “I’m very glad to hear that.”

“You like that, hurting people?”

Jon smiled. “I like to give people what they want; so, yes I enjoy it. I like to watch you take the pain I give you. Watch you fight to keep control of it, accept it—that excites me, makes me proud of you; it makes me grateful to you as well. Do you think you’d like to come back? I’d like to teach you more, if you want.”

Lev nodded shyly, “Yes. Yes, I’d like to come back very much.”

So, they’d made the arrangement. Levko accepted the money Jon offered, but only because of Charlie. He knew that morning he didn’t want to return to his normal life. But would Jon want him? He knew no other way to escape Charlie.

***

Charlie had finally finished and he pushed Lev to one side of the bed. He sat up, realizing that Lev hadn’t handed him any of his takings from the previous night’s work. He slapped the boy cruelly on the ass. “Hey, Garbage! Where’s my money?”

Lev yelped as he was struck. He scuttled up toward the head of the bed and hugged his knees, “Fuck you, Charlie that hurt!”

Charlie, who’d gotten to his feet, turned. The look in his eyes made Lev flinch.

“Where is my fuckin’ money, Garbage? Do not make me ask again.”

“It’s in my pocket. In my jeans.”

Charlie picked up the threadbare pair, pulled out the wad of bills and counted them. He inspected Lev. “How the fuck …? I mean how many guys did you do?”

“Five.”

“Fuck and they are paying you a C-note a time? You’re not good enough that they’d pay you a hundred for a fuck. What’s going on? Fuckin’ tell me the truth, or I swear I will beat it out of you.”

“I blew four guys for twenty-five dollars each. It was so cold Charlie. I waited out there in the cold …”

“Oh fuckin’ cry me a river.”

“I wanted to get more before I came back; so, I waited. Then a car came and the guy drove to his place and he fucked me, I guess he liked it.”

“Four hundred dollars’ worth? He the one that bruised your tits like that?”

“Yes.”

“Damn. Well, you make sure you wait around for him. If he liked you that much, maybe he’ll come back.”

Lev nodded.

“You let him do what he wants. If he likes kinky shit and pays like that, you let him do what he wants. You got that, Garbage?”

A tendril of anger planted itself in Levko’s gut. He gritted his teeth and nodded.

Jon left his office in downtown Toronto and went to the Sub Basement Club for dinner. If there was to be a next time, he’d arrange with Lev that it be earlier. As he walked to the Club, Jon thought about the evening he’d spent with Levko the previous week. Lev was very sweet and malleable; and though he’d promised himself he’d not take on another sub after Danny, Jon was thinking about allowing the new boy more access into his life.

‘It’s not a good idea though, nor is it fair,’ Jon thought, but he couldn’t get this boy out of his mind. He walked down the stairs into the club in the Flat Iron Building. He used his electronic key card to open the door and then pulled the door closed behind him.

The greeter, a scantily dressed young woman said, “Good Evening, Master Gould.”

He smiled at her, “Good evening, Diana. Is there room in the lounge?”

“Yes, Sir, there is. Would you like me to find a seat for you?”

“No, girl, I’m fine. Thank you.”

He went to the lounge and found a place in a quiet corner. Settling into the comfortable chair, he opened his unread morning paper.

Knowing Master Gould’s preference for boys, the Lounge-Keeper sent a young man to serve him.

The boy appeared quietly and waited to be acknowledged by the Master.

Jon peered up. “Good evening, forgive me, what is your name?”

“Good evening, Sir. I am Alexander. Can I bring anything for you?”

“Yes, Alexander you can. I need a bite to eat and a scotch rocks, please.”

“Would you like today’s menu, sir?”

“No thank you, bring me whatever the soup is and a cheese and tomato sandwich.”

The boy bowed slightly and gazed at Jon a moment too long.

“Was there something else boy?”

Flustered at being caught staring, the young man bowed again, “No, sir. I’m very sorry.”

Jon turned back to his paper and waved a hand at the boy, “Thank you, that’s all.”

Alexander returned two minutes later and set-up a small table for Jon. Then, the efficient server retreated again and returned with a bowl of corn and potato chowder, the requested sandwich, and a glass of scotch on the rocks.

Jon smiled at the young man, “Thank you.” He tucked the paper in beside him and turned to his food. Alexander remained, albeit silently.

Spoon half-way to his mouth, Jon put it down to deal with Alexander, “What is it, boy?”

“Master Gould, may I ask something?”

“Yes, Alexander, please do.”

“I’m just wondering … is it true that you’ve stopped teaching?”

“Yes, that is true. Why do you ask?”

Alexander kept his eyes lowered, “I am seeking a Dom who may be willing to train me, Sir.”

Jon blinked and sighed deeply. “I will ask around on your behalf, Alexander. However, I no longer teach.”

“Thank you, Sir. I understand.” The server bowed and moved away.

Jon stared at the headlines and thought, ‘No you don’t understand—but why should you?’ He picked up his spoon and began to eat.

After his light meal, Jon contented himself in one of the play-rooms, by watching a new Dom and sub demo their technique. They were both so young and inexperienced, so clichéd. At the end, Jon applauded politely, but thought, ‘Too much time on the internet.’

At 11:00 p.m. Jon called for his driver and they made their way over to the place where he hoped Lev would be waiting.

“Mr. Gould, I don’t see him. Do you want me to drive around the block or wait?”

“Yes, Harold. Please circle the block.”

Lev was late. It was midnight now and he prayed that Jon would wait a few minutes. He’d explained to Jon that it was a possibility he’d be a bit late.

“Thanks,” Lev accepted the twenty-five dollars from his john who walked away zipping his jeans. Lev shoved the money into his pocket, took the last swig of his no-name cola, rinsed his mouth, and spit it out. He lit a cigarette to help warm and calm himself; he then set off at a trot, hoping to be on time to meet Jon.

Finally arriving at the designated place, Lev watched in dismay the unmistakable tail lights move down the street and make a left turn.

Furious with himself, and afraid to go home with only two hundred dollars, Lev swore aloud, “Shit, shit, shit!” He’d just have to stay out and work, he couldn’t go home with this little—Charlie would be angry and disappointed—not a good thing at all.

After a couple more drags from his cigarette, Levko sucked in the cold night air and blew it out. ‘I’ll walk to the strip. See if I can catch a break and find a generous guy or a party. I need more fucking money.’

He’d started to walk, when a car drew up beside him. Jon’s car! His heart leapt as he turned around and headed to the rear door. Opening it, he ducked down and said hello to Jon, unable to keep the smile from his face.

The happiness on Lev’s face made Jon smile too. “Levko, you’re here. I was getting worried. Get in boy.”

“Yes Sir!” Lev climbed in and sat down.

“Come to me, boy.”

Lev moved closer, and Jon moved around in his seat and undid the button of Lev’s shirt, “Are my marks still there?”

He pulled open his boy’s shirt and inspected his chest. The bruises were fading, but that was all right, Jon would leave more reminders for the boy tonight. Jon ran his hands over the boy’s pecs and grazed each nipple, eliciting a groan from his willing victim.

Jon pulled Lev close and held him. He pinched the right nipple, Lev didn’t move, only sucked in air and grimaced slightly.

“Does that feel good, boy?”

Lev met Jon’s eyes, his own full of lust and nodded.

“When I ask you a question, you reply aloud. Do you understand me?”

“Yes, Sir. I’m sorry.”

“You do not need to be sorry unless an error is made purposely, Lev. You’re learning and I’m pleased.”

Lev smiled shyly.

“Do up your shirt, boy. We’ll be home soon.”

Lev went through the same preparations as he had the previous week. He waited once again for Jon on the hard chair. Jon came for him and led him, not to the bedroom this time, but to a small space in the Play-room.

In the centre of the space was a rectangular wooden platform about two feet high. Along the wall was a counter with slim drawers.

Jon had Lev disrobe and kneel on a small rectangular platform. Then, he asked Lev to get on all fours. Attached to the side of platform were what resembled wooden boxes with holes in the top of each, these were level with Levko’s shoulders. Jon first took Lev’s right hand, opened the box and put Lev’s hand inside. He closed the box and locked it. He did the same with the box on the left. Lev was now locked into the box.

Jon pushed Lev’s knees apart. He used a spacer bar and leather straps on his thighs to keep them open. He then walked around the boy, running his hands over the warm skin, pinching a nipple, gently raking inner thighs, kneading sexy buttocks, tugging the hanging balls and cock. Lev could not move. He could only moan when Master touched him. Finally, Jon squatted down in front of his willing boy.

So far this night, there not been any kisses. Lev hoped he’d get one now when Jon knelt before him.

“Tonight, love, we start your lessons. I will be gentle. However, in my world, our world, there is passion, and when I am in mine, I do not always think clearly. You must think of a red light word. This will make sure I stop whatever I’m doing immediately. It must be something you can remember. There will be two other words also—a yellow and green light word. Yellow will mean, I’m okay just modify a bit, and green of course will mean, don’t stop I’m just fine.

If you need time to think of your words, that’s fine. I will not be out of control this evening. I don’t allow it when I’m teaching a boy. However, I want you to share these words with me at our next date. Are my instructions clear?”

Lev swallowed, “Yes, Master.”

Jon stood. “Excellent. Now, we’ll begin.”

Running his hands over his boy, Jon slapped each of Lev’s buttocks firmly. He enjoyed the boy’s twitches as each whack landed.

Jon walked to the counter and pulled open the top drawer. Lev could not see what Jon pulled out, but he did see the paddle that his Master pulled from the third drawer, however.

Lev’s body was starting to hurt. The position he was in was not comfortable and he tried to move to allow his muscles to relax some. Jon squatted in front of him again. He held a wooden paddle in his right and a leather slapper in his left.

The restrained boy gazed at the contents of his Master’s hands. Jon was speaking and used the wooden paddle to gently lift his boy’s eyes to meet his own. Jon was the type of Dom who didn’t think subs were beneath him. He didn’t think they should have downcast eyes. They were equal partners in this dance.

“The positions I place you in are purposely not comfortable. It is part of your lessons, and your submission to me. You are my boy, I am Master here. You never question that. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Master.”

Jon stood up and moved around to stroke the lithe, strong back. “Good boy.”

“Now boy, which of these do you prefer?” Jon used the slapper on Lev’s left buttock and the wood on the right, smartly—he smiled as the boy grunted and accepted his gifts.

After play, Jon released his boy from the wooden prison. He admired the red ass and the bruises that were coming through. Knowing they were there and that it would hurt whenever Levko sat, was satisfying and exciting. But now his boy needed to be loved; so, he led Lev to the bedroom.

“Get on the bed, boy.” Jon removed his clothes and watched his young sub wince. “Hurts?”

“Yes, sir.”

Jon climbed onto the bed and held the young man. The boy’s skin was warm and felt perfect in his arms. He entered Lev, who held onto him with what felt like desperation. They made love then, it was satisfying and intense.

They lay together afterward, Lev kissing Jon’s chest as the man held him close.

Jon reached for and stroked Lev’s hard cock, eliciting some pleasing moans. “Boy, come for me. I want to watch you masturbate.”

And Lev did with eyes closed, the pleasure building and as he got close, Jon stopped him, not allowing the sub to come. “You are so beautiful my sweet, but you will not come this week. Do you understand me? You’ve been very good and I’m proud of you. This is not a punishment, it is a challenge. I will not know of course, if you do, but you will know. Do you understand?”

Lev listened trying to get control of himself. “Yes, sir. I won’t lie to you.”

“That’s my good boy.” Jon got up off the bed and held his hand out to his sub. “Come boy and let us shower.”

***

It was mid-morning and the car sat on the driveway, waiting. Jon handed Lev a thick envelope. Lev took it but his belly twisted and he wiped away tears. “T…thanks.”

“Why are you upset?”

Lev shook his head. “This … the money—doesn’t seem right.”

“Your time is money, boy. You know you need to keep your man sweet.”

“Jon … I ….”

Jon saw it then. The admiration in his sub’s eyes, but he said nothing. This couldn’t happen—not again. He kissed the boy quickly and pushed him toward the car. He should stop this now. He should, but he didn’t know if he could or wanted to.

He watched the car pull away and went back into the massive, empty house.

***

Charlie took the money, “Fucking nice, Garbage. This guy must love what you do for him.” He put the money in the strong box he kept on the single bookshelf. He turned and smirked at Lev. “Fuck this makes me horny…strip off I’m gonna fuck you.”

Lev wanted to cry, and he did, as he removed his clothes, then lay on the bed and waited for Charlie.

“Stop your fucking bawling and turn over. As long as I don’t see your face—I can pretend I’m with someone hot.” Charlie crawled up between Lev’s legs, spit on his dick and pushed it into Lev. He ignored the boy’s thrashing and cries of pain. Finally spent, Charlie collapsed on top, “Fuck Garbage, I’d like you to tell me what you do for that guy, cuz you are like the lousiest lay I’ve ever had. Christ!”

“Stop calling me that, Charlie.”

The surprise on Charlie’s face would have been comical if it wasn’t followed by rage. Charlie pulled out of Lev’s ass and flipped him over. He quickly straddled the boy and slid his hands around his neck and squeezed. Lev fought him, finally raking his cheek hard enough to break the skin.

Charlie howled and pulled his hands away from Lev’s throat. He raised his hands to his cheek and saw blood. He glared at the now frightened boy under him. He smiled then, and the smile never left his face as he beat Lev unconscious.

It was dark in the room when Lev finally came to. He hurt. Everywhere. Reaching up to touch his face, it was swollen and he felt the bones in his left cheek grind. He couldn’t stop the tears, as he tried to find his clothes and get them on. He pulled on one of Charlie’s too-big hoodies as well. Once dressed, he opened the strong box and looked at the money.

It was his. He’d earned every penny. He could grab it all and run, but if Charlie caught him, he’d kill him for sure. No. No, as much as it was his, it would be stupid. Charlie wanted the money, not him.

Lev took forty dollars—he had to get out of there before Charlie came back and finished the job.

Lev turned to regard the place he’d lived for the past four years. “Fuck you, Charlie,” he whispered through swollen lips. He closed the door and ran down the stairs. He pushed open the front door of the building, stepped out, and glanced around. There was nothing in sight so he ran.

He ran only until he was across the street. It hurt, each footfall was agony for his broken face and bruised body. He made it to the main road and then got on an east-bound bus—stuffing in a five-dollar bill as his fare. He pulled the hood around his face to hide it. After thirty minutes or so, Lev got off and walked as fast as he could until he was in a neighbourhood he didn’t think Charlie would visit.

Lev sat in a pretty park next to a water fountain. He used some water to gingerly wash his face, hoping he’d gotten most of the blood off. He hurt bad, but he couldn’t stay here. So he got to his feet and walked south. Ending up on Queen Street, he walked along with his hood up until he found a Pizza Pizza store that was open. He went in, ordered a slice and a drink, and went into the Men’s Room. He winced as he saw himself in the mirror. That face wasn’t his, but the eyes were. He felt like throwing up.

‘Oh, that wouldn’t be good. It just wouldn’t be.’

Keeping the hood up he returned to the counter. He ignored the furtive glances of the counter-guy and slunk off to a quiet corner in the back with his food. He was hungry, but it was so hard to chew—it hurt so bad. Pushing aside the pizza, he drank some soda and pulled out the contents of his pockets. He counted the money he had left, thirty dollars, seventy five cents, in cash, a couple of aspirin—which he swallowed with his remaining soda—a business card and an old napkin. He pulled the topping from the pizza in little pieces and swallowed as best he could.

He played with the little card absently, smearing it with red, oily fingerprints. Then he read the card—Jonathan Gould, Barrister and Solicitor, and then beneath that: Gould, Robertson & Harcourt. There were phone numbers. Jon? Was this Jon? Should he call? He would, but not now. He’d wait until later on.

Lev left the pizza shop and found an alleyway and a piece of cardboard. He hunkered down and tried to sleep.

Sunshine woke him and warmed him after the cold, difficult night. As he roused himself he pulled out the precious card. Jon Gould, it sounded nice. He wondered now if he should call. What if Jon wouldn’t talk to him? He was scared but he whispered aloud, “I need to try. I need help.” Tears trickled down his face as Lev realized how alone he was. Finally they stopped and Lev wiped the remaining tears away. He got to his feet and went in search of a payphone.

He didn’t find one; they were rare things now in the city. He went into a local coffee shop. This was a rough part of town and the woman serving wasn’t surprised to see Lev’s face.

“What can I get you?”

“Please, please can I use your phone? I’ll pay. I’m gonna order food but I need to make a call. Please.”

Donna had heard this before. “Okay, you want a doughnut and coffee and use of the phone—local calls only! That’s $5.00 altogether.”

“Okay. Thank you so much.” Lev handed Donna the cash.

“Come through here and if I hear anything but you talking, I’ll call the cops. You got that?” She held her cell phone in her hand.

“Yes, ma’am. You won’t, I swear it.”

Donna nodded. The kid seemed sincere but she kept an eye on him in any case.

Lev pulled the card from his pocket. He rested the receiver on his shoulder—it made his face ache—he listened for the dial tone, and then entered the phone number. His heart beat so hard in his chest, he thought his ribs would crack.

“Gould, Robertson and Harcourt, good morning. How may I direct your call?” The female voice was polished and confident.

“Um, Jon Gould please. I’d like to speak with him.”

“May I know who is calling please?”

“Levko Wolanski.”

“Are you a client? I’m afraid I don’t see…”

“He knows me, personally. Please, it’s very important.”

Lev heard the woman sigh. “One moment, please.”

Jon was finishing his notes when his phone rang. “Yes? Melissa, I asked not to be disturbed.”

“Yes, sir, I’m sorry, but there’s someone saying their call is personal. Mr. Levko Wolanski.”

“Levko Wolanski? I don’t know anyone…,” Jon stopped himself. Lev? “Wait, put the call through please.”

“Yes, sir.” There was a pause, “Go ahead please.”

Jon spoke first. “Hello?”

“Jon … Master?”

Jon sucked in his breath. “Lev? Where are you? How did … never mind. Are you all right?”

“Please … I need help.”

Jon could hear that Lev was barely holding it together. He spoke firmly. “Boy. Where are you?”

“Coxwell and Queen.”

“Are you safe there, boy? Until I get there?”

Levko wanted to weep harder. “Y…yes. I can sit in the coffee shop.”

“I’m coming. Go sit and wait for me. It will be all right.” Jon took a deep breath and spoke gently. “Go now. I am on my way, Lev.”

“Okay. Thank you, Jon.”

Jon got another line. “Harold, bring the car, now. I’ll be downstairs in ten minutes.”

Lev put down the phone and wiped his face with his sleeve. He walked back out of the little office and stood in front of the counter. Donna smiled as she handed Levko his order. She’d slipped in a cookie for nothing.

Taking a seat in the corner, Lev ate carefully and slowly. He needed food, it had been sometime since he’d eaten the cheese from his pizza.

Donna was surprised when the tall, well-built man came in and went over to the young man she’d served earlier.

Jon stared down at Lev, before he slid into a seat. Lev looked back and said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know who else ….”

“Your face. My God, Lev, you need a doctor!” Jon got to his feet. “Come on, I’m taking you to a doctor.”

***

Lev awoke in a bed. Cracking open his eyes, he found he was alone. There were monitors next to his bed, moving his head made him dizzy so he didn’t do it quickly. He saw the intravenous tube in the back of his hand. As he took in his surroundings, he realized he wasn’t in a hospital room. This was a bedroom. Part of him wanted to get up and look around but that wasn’t the best of ideas right now. He let himself drift back to sleep.

***

Jon worried for two days. He wondered what he should do. He cared for this young man. Never had it been in his plan to care. He’d picked up a rent boy for that exact reason; he did not want to care. But, here he was; Danny had been so long ago. When the boy left, Jon didn’t think his heart would ever heal, or that he’d ever find himself here again. Danny was the reason he’d not taken another sub. Jon paced in his room. ‘Yet here I am; and if I’m honest, I think I could love Lev.”

***

“Lev … Levko.”

He could hear his name and opened his eyes gradually. Jon’s handsome face came into focus.

“Hello my boy. Slowly does it. Wake up slowly.”

“Jon?”

“Yes, it’s me. You’re safe now.”

“Where am I?”

“Home.” Jon reached out and held Lev’s warm hand.

“Your home?”

“It’s your home too, if you want it to be.”

Relief, gratitude and love, flowed through Levko. Tears threatened as he answered, “Yes, please Master.”

Jon felt tears prick his eyes. He leaned forward and kissed Lev gently. “Here, I’m Jon—your Jon. Okay?”

Lev nodded and he reached up and wiped away one of Jon’s tears. “Yes, Jon.”

They sat quietly together for a few minutes. Lev broke the peaceful silence. “Would you open the drapes please, Jon? I’m tired of the dark.”

Jon smiled, rose and strode across the room to the window; he pulled back the heavy brocade drapes and flooded the room with light.

Your skill at taking us to another world apart from the one we see each day is breathtaking. After reading the warning at the beginning I was uncertain as to whether I should continue. The story is dark but nothing was gratuitious or needlessly graphic. And while I can't say I enjoyed it, this not a story read for pleasure, it is engrossing. It demands a certain awareness that not all is as it first might seem. You've spun the tale wonderfully and in so doing have shared yourself with us. Thank you for that trust. It is a priceless gift. Namaste.

I'm glad Lev was clever enough to get out in time, and I'm even more glad Jon was kind and caring. Even if he wasn't falling in love I believe he would have helped Lev. I shall have to imagine him organizing a suitable punishment for the pimp.

What a brilliant story. It's amazing how Lev stayed with his pimp for so long, but I personally understand the conflict between love and hate. I'm glad he escaped from that life. Many don't, or can't. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Although the subject matter is grim, the story is warm and gentle. I could almost feel what Lev must have felt lying in that bed, safe at last.

I feel very sad that even part of this story is based on reality. But I am also very glad that Lev is now safe from his pimp, the real garbage.

Excellent story, tim.

It was borderline -- disturbing. But it was supposed to be.
Underneath it all was a gentle love story. So - great going, to thread the two stories along together.
Very satisfying at the end.

I'm with Droughtquake. It breaks my heart knowing that this is partially autobiographical. The consolation is that Lev is now loved and safe. This was very well-written, Tim.:kiss:

BRILLIANT! :worship:

Gritty tale and marvelous writing. IMO, your best ever and one of the most amazing things I've ever read on GA.

You rocked this one, tim.

Your story is wonderful! I don't pretend to understand the world of doms and subs or the violence some people use. I liked Lev right away and my heart ached for him as he made this journey. Seems like HEA, which I wasn't expecting. Maybe you'll revisit Jon and Lev sometime. Again beautifully written. Thank you. Jeff

It's a real pleasure to watch you evolve as a writer, my friend. I think from all standpoints, this may be your best. Sure, the subject matter could be viewed as difficult for some, but you were masterful in your handling of it. This was every bit a love story. Honest, at times harsh, brutal even, but tender too. It was a simple story made beautiful because the man characters needed each other. I liked that you showed BDSM can and should center around caring, and yes, love. I loved the symbolism of the ending, tim. It was perfect that the darkness was cast away for them both, and that they were left in the bright light of day. Well done... cheers... Gary xoxoxo

I loved the last line. Lev's world has been dark for far too long. Now Jon came along and lightened his life. That sounds cheesy, but I loved how Lev said he was tired of the dark so he asked Jon to open the drapes. Now Lev's world is much brighter. That was wonderful. :)

I did get choked up there when Jon was so gentle with Lev and told him he could live there with him. Beautiful.

That fucker Charlie should be locked up and tortured on a daily basis. I hope he gets what's coming to him. Sooner rather than later.

Jon Gould. My dad was Jack Gould. Funny seeing my maiden name in print.

I really like this story, Tim. I've read quite a few stories with the D/s (is that how it's written?), and Jon seems like a wonderful Dom. Kind, considerate, and loving. Not a crazed lunatic like that asshat Charlie.

I found this hard to read knowing it was semi autobiographical (and it was about someone I know). But it was worth pushing through. The ending was pure poetry

Thank you dugh. I appreciate you reading it. I'm not into graphic so much. A hint of what's happening is usually enough.

Thanks for your very kind comments.

Lev was smarter and luckier than I was. My own Jon was a nice man, but our relationship was short.

Thanks for reading Tim!! I appreciate it.

You told this story amazingly well, it is a fantastic piece of writing, totally captivating, brilliant!

William, thank you so much. I'd considered writing this as my own story, but I don't know. This worked better I think. Thanks for reading and for your wonderful review.

Charlie was a real person in my life but for 7 years, not 4. His name was Jeff. I've written about what happened to me and to him in other pieces. But he was everything to me for a long time. There are reasons he was like he was, and I still feel sorry for him. Thanks for reading my friend. I appreciate it..

It is sad that anyone ever had to live like this. A lot of my 'customers' had kids my age when I was providing what they'd paid for. That's beyond wrong and I'm not sure how they justified it to themselves. It still goes on ..

Thanks for reading droughtquake. I appreciate your support.

Thank you Val. For reading and for your comments. The Jon in my life was a nice man but he could never have brought me home to stay. Lev was lucky.

Thanks for your support.

Thank you, Jeffrey for reading this and for taking the time to comment. The world of BDSM is an interesting place, it should be a loving place, but there are lots of variations and lifestyles. Thanks for your support.
