Spice Rack - 16. Reappearance

This is probably the last bottle I will open. For now. You know what I will say about errors.

Kneeling –

head down, wrists locked,

tense anticipation

of reward or punishment – thrills

my frame;

light airs

reveal your scent, your presence near;

I feel your hard power,

hear your low growl

You're mine.

Once again, I express my lasting gratitude to AC Benus and Asamvav111 for their help. I will be grateful to you for any comments or thoughts you might wish to share. Thanks.

You saved the spiciest for last.  A hot mixture of habanero and ghost pepper combine to create a primal joining.  Nicely done.  The thing about spice racks is that there's always room for more.  I really enjoyed this series, Chef. :)

And there are any number of bottles and packets still unopened. Glad you liked the selections made from the rack. And yes, it was fun to save the spiciest for the final offering.

Evocative and spicy indeed.. like Val said maybe the spiciest...

There's a promise for more.  Safe to say, I will pick an offering from the Rack now and then.

 These were exquisite Parker.

Thank you, Def. These Spice Rack poems were fun to write, and this particular one had quite a lot of flavor. It was good to save it for last. If you come back to them once in a while, I shall be delighted.

Reading this is a good way to start my morning. Puts me in the right frame of mind. Spicy with a whip of obedience.

You put me in mind of a completely different sort of spice rack.  I am glad this helped you get your day off to a good start. Hope it is merely a beginning, and the rest of the day is ordered as you wish.

Good thing you know about air conditioning, eh? Might need to turn it up a notch.  Seriously, though, I am glad you liked this. Hope the whole collection adds a dash of colour and heat to your days from time to time. Thanks very much for reading this!

I've been penning a similar poem to yours. Reading this inspired me to complete it.

Parker, You end this on a perfect note. The warmest and most flavor inducing to my palette!

Dessert,

or savory,

it is your decision --

or you could be quite wicked and

choose both.

Thanks for reading these, and for your responses.

Thank you for your comment. A reader asking for more is about the nicest thing an author can read. I am glad you enjoyed these.

'light airs reveal your scent'... so very poetic, my friend. I'm in love with 'light airs' alone :) ... as for the rest, wow. You paint a commitment to go with the spice... I have uttered those last two words... and they were well meant. A truly rewarding odyssey you have taken us on, Parker... thank you... cheers... Gary....

It feels so good to know you found these sixteen bottles of spice to be rewarding. It is amazing what tiny draft of air can bring to the senses. And in some way, I wonder if most of us don't want to hear those last two words. Thank you for your very kind and generous thoughts.
