timmy's poetry - 36. Burden
Burden
I would take your pain and sorrow from you
Give you rest and ease your troubled mind
I would calm your turbulent soul, so it rides easy
For I can feel your pain
Feel the sadness
Touch your heartache
I would embrace your agony
For I can take it all, if it frees you, eases you
I will bear these afflictions, and then let them fly
Open myself to the heavens, let them carry these burdens
Then give you peace and quiet, a place to lay your head
