Stained

   (1 review)
Genres: General Fiction,
Sub-genres: Drama

When a crime is committed, it isn't just objects that are stolen. Trust and well being are also lost. For Dewey and Malcolm, they must figure out how to wash away the fear.

Trust is like an iron butterfly.  Easily frightened and completely artificial.

Have you ever had your house, condo, apartment broken into and robbed while you were at work, on vacation, or just away for a celebration, like the Fourth of July fireworks?  Did you feel violated?  Did it set you on edge and make you fearful and nervous afterward?  Did you get suspicious or jump to conclusions about who might have done it?  This is a cleverly crafted story about such an incident and you can feel every emotion that the couple who were robbed felt.  You will also find a little twist at the end, so be sure to read this excellent short story.
