If you’ve read “Protector of Children” you may remember Lucas. That particular Lucas lives (or lived or will live) in Earth Analogue IV, one not unlike the one in which you are reading this except that its inhabitants include the Greek gods and at least one titan. The narrative which follows occurs (or occurred or will occur) in Earth Analogues V and VII.

These realities are different from the reality in which you read them. Many people, institutions, and gods have analogues in more than one reality. However, in all realities, the word, “boy” means a young male of the age of consent.
