Three little observations.
1.
From my window I can see
Onto my balcony
And on the railing there
Drips of melting snow
Frozen in time
2.
Pines trees and maples stand
Side by side
The maple has been stripped bare
The pine stands in his outerwear
3.
Though the weather is gloomy
Gray clouds like a tarpaulin spread
My heart is not in concert
With the elements
