Adopted and then left unexpectedly alone after a tragic accident killed Ty's new wonderful parents only six months after becoming part of their family. The loss is devastating and as his hopes shatter Ty begins to accept that he will never be able to have a family -- after all who wants a thirteen-year-old black boy from the streets? A shard of hope slices through his despair when Dane, his adopted parent's son, returns from the military because of his parent's death. He takes Ty in. This is their multidimensional love story.

This story contains emotional dependencies and mention of abuse. It’s not for everyone.

What a grand story. It touches on so many levels and connects with the reader.

 Theoretically as niether dane nor Ty at blood related they could have a relationship depending on what the age of legally recognized consent can be given

   Technically there could be problems as they are both f brothers by adoption and father and son by the same route in the eyes of the law. How this would play out in a real courtroom drama a would be two differ debates depending on who is debating and conducting such a trial. In this day and age I have no doubt such things have happened on the quiet. Here in Australia one of the tabloids is running a story about a woman who has deliberately married her youngest brother. This is seen as incest of the first degree and is forbidden.

 So how your sepeculation in the story would play out if it does and I suspect nasty pigmy Sergeant my try to muddy Danes work career with this I don't know but I suspect from the several strong hints that have been given something along this line will take place.

Thank you so much! I definitely wanted to write a story that could show how love can be complex and not always clean cut and defined. By many peoples point of view Dane is wrong to love Ty the way he does because of his role in Ty’s life adopted or not. For Ty he would seem to have emotional dependabilities that shouldn’t be fed into but fixed but if Dane makes him happy then why fix the way he feels? I feel like love has to fit into so many social parameters to be accepted.

I tend to agree with you .Remember the western Anglo Civilization only has one word for love so it has to take on the role of a July hatted general so to speak.By example Greek has seven different words for love .The comore common new being philos= friend

          Agape = self sacrificing love

          Eros= erotic or sexual love.

Because these are all verbs they come with all the various verb endings that Greek has and gives each verb a more definate .meanings for many situations.
