Sanctuary

There are currently no reviews.
Sub-genres: Adventure, General Fantasy

Children of God can seek sanctuary, protection, and shelter at any House of God; but what of those who are not? Creatures shunned by the Lord have only one option, and that is to seek out a Rectory Office and claim sanctuary. Aki is the warden of a quiet Rectory Office on the edge of the city, but it won't be very quiet for long.

Sanctuary exists in a related universe to the Best Circle of Hell series, though prior knowledge of these characters is not necessary.

I feel bad for not leaving a review for the latest chapter before now. I didn't have safe, reliable wi-fi whileon the road.

The interaction between Hel and James was beautiful beyond words and Aki's expression of love and pride ... To be accepted and loved in a form that remains uncertain, even alien, is an immeasurable gift.

Hel's crush/infatuation is to be expected. Both his personhood and sexuality are at odds to his former self. To meet a mature person who embodies much of who and what he can become is attractive and fascinating. Many of us have experienced similiar ... it can be heartpoundingly wonderful and frightening. Add in the wolf's inherent desire to bond with others and adolescent hormonal turmoil and ... welcome to the merry-go-round ... life is a thrill.

Thank you for this gift.

I'm not sure "a thrill" is what Hel will be feeling in a few chapters time, but we can hope.

Thank you sweetie. I'm so glad you liked it. I think it is one of my finer pieces of writing.
