I Am Fine - 2. Epilogue
In the distance, sirens wailed.
A man lay strapped into his seat, barely conscious. His eyes glazed over as his chest rose and fell jerkily. Around him, the heat licked at his skin, like vultures waiting to consume his body. Glass lay on the road, reflecting shards of moonlight. A mighty tree lay on its sides, its trunk splintered.
Blood soaked through his red hair and dripped onto his shoulders. Then, his grey eyes closed.
