Once a warrior, Skold, an elf, is now a notorious bounty hunter in the twenty-first century who is hired to investigate a mysterious chain of events that could throw the world into chaos while also trying to regain his lost memories.

A GREAT STORY! Even for us "not typically fantasy fans", it was a compelling tale. Skold's transition from one who perceives himself incapable of caring, even in the slightest, to one who has friends, family and a lover is masterfully accomplished. I hope to see a sequel coming soon.

Never been interested in fantasy before, always followed the Tom Clancy crowd.

But for a change this wasn't stuck in medieval times it was modern and fun.
