Justin and Lucas have been best friends for years, but all of a sudden that ended when they were in seventh grade, and only Justin knew the reason why.  Lucas tried for a long time to discover what the problem was, but unsuccessfully.  The situation stayed the same for a long time, but finally things began to change.  What happened and were they able to work everything out?  You'll have to read this wonderful and emotionally packed short story to find out, and trust me, you won't want to miss reading this haunting tale.

What an amazing story. I came back to read this and remember how striking the symbolism is that Justin proved he was able to change for Lucas.

Viv is a master of weaving scene settings to where you don't even need to close your eyes to picture where her characters are and what they are doing. Well done :worship:

I highly recommend this read! Afterall, it is never too late :)
